I love life and nothing energizes me more than journeying through life with people, helping them find their inspiring vision for life, watching them move into freedom, past the weight of shame to finally claim their God-given significance, then living out irrevocable, unrivaled success in life. I thrive on challenge of pushing forward in life through adversity. I believe that life’s crisis do not develop character, but only reveal it. That is why the daily investment in knowing self and Christ and the hard work of positive self-talk is paramount for living a life of peace…when life presents us lumps of coal, we get the opportunity to turn it into a beautiful diamond. I am committed to walking alongside clients in this process and am committed to this in my own life. I believe loving self through life, while knowing and being centered in the Source of life, is the most difficult and important gift we can give to those with whom we do life.

I am passionate about the covenant of marriage. I believe there is nothing more powerful or profound than the mystery of marriage…no commitment could be more rewarding, sweet or challenging. I long for couples to unleash the full potential of their marriage and to create the intimacy we all long for in life, while understanding the greatest gift we have to offer our marriage and partner is a healthy sense of self.

I am intensely curious…my hunger for knowledge and understanding is unending. I long to know others and their unique story. I believe there is something important for me to learn from each person I meet. I inspire people by drawing them outside of themselves into a place that is safe and authentic, validating and affirming each person’s significance, using insight and discernment with humility, compassion, and generosity.

I have been involved in mentoring or coaching others for over fifteen years. I received my bachelor’s degree from Missouri Sate University. I obtained my master’s degree in counseling/marriage and family therapy from Mid America Nazarene University. I have my best friend and biggest advocate in my husband, Ryan, and we have our sweet pup, Baxter.
